The Hop Garden to Host a Combined Beer Release Party & Charity Chili Cook-Off Contest to Debut their New Pumpkin Ale

PAOLI, WISCONSIN | October 7, 2015 — October is a fabulous time as many breweries debut their chilly weather seasonal beers. On October 24th, 2015, The Hop Garden will be hosting a Pumpkin Ale Beer Release Party and Chili Cookoff Contest at their Tap Room in Paoli, WI to celebrate the debut the Hop Garden Pumpkin Ale which was brewed at The House of Brews in Madison.

“This was the first time making a large 10 barrel batch for the Pumpkin Ale. Everything went great! We hit our targets on aroma, color and flavor. We used a blend of Centennial and Nugget hops for bitterness and will be adding the extra spices in later when switched over to the bright tanks.”

The Hop Garden has just brewed up a limited release Pumpkin Ale made with pie-pumpkins which were grown on The Hop Garden’s farm then grilled with apple wood for use in the 10 barrel brewing recipe. Join the Hop Garden at their Paoli, Wisconsin Tap Room for the first pour of this one-off Pumpkin Ale will be coincide with a chili cook-off for charity and live music at 1pm on October 24th, 2015. The Hop Garden Debuts their Tap Room Grand Opening…

…in Paoli, WI on May 2nd in conjunction with 2015 Madison Craft Beer Week

The Hop Garden | April 2, 2015 — Belleville, Wisconsin-based craft beer company and hop farm operator, The Hop Garden has announced a Grand Opening event on May 2 (12-7pm) to celebrate their new Tap Room located in Paoli, WI. The Hop Garden Tap Room Grand Opening event will feature $2.00 taps, a Free Growler with a purchase of a fill and more.
The Hop Garden Tap Room is located on the back side of the Old Mill at 6818 Canal St., Paoli, Wisconsin, just two right turns from Hwy PB south of Verona, WI. The Hop Garden Tap Room is unique because it features The Hop Garden beers and other brewers’ beers which use The Hop Garden hops or hops grown in Wisconsin.

The Hop Garden is a family owned business who also operate a hop farm south of Belleville, Wisconsin where they manage 9 acres of hops which sell to craft brewers all over the USA.  In 2014, Rich Joseph, owner of The Hop Garden, turned his homebrewing hobby into a business and began commercially brewing in January of 2014. The Hop Garden now has 4 distinct beers which they self-distribute to over 60 retail outlets in Southern Wisconsin and are served at their Paoli, WI Tap Room.  The Hop Garden beers include the use of hops from their Belleville, WI farm and malt from Chilton, Wisconsin.

The Hop Garden Tap Room debuts operating hours for week of 3-30-2015

The Hop Garden Tap Room, located at 6818 Canal St, Paoli, WI, will be open today (Sat, 3/28/2015) until 5pm and tomorrow (Sunday, 3/29/2015) from 1 to 4pm.
